Ranetki (2008 - 2014)

The TV series "Ranetki" is a Russian youth melodrama about five high school girls who form a rock band in their school. Anya, a tenth grader, moves to Moscow with her parents from a small town but struggles to connect with her peers. She feels lonely until the school principal notices her musical talent. He suggests that Anya join a creative project with her classmates - the cheerful Lera, the top student Zhenya, the romantic Natasha, and the athlete Lena.
