Spartacus (2010 - 2013)

"Spartacus: Blood and Sand" is a historical action-packed TV series released by Starz in 2010. The story takes place in the past, two thousand years ago, when the Roman Empire had seized power over almost the entire continent. After the allies condemned the Thracians to a life of slavery, the brave warrior Spartacus is separated from his wife. He is condemned to bloody battles against other gladiators. In front of a cheering crowd, the enslaved man is forced to shed liters of blood.
