The Wire (2002 - 2008)

"The Wire" is a cult American TV series produced by HBO. The plot revolves around a police unit located in Baltimore. Using special equipment, wiretapping devices, and hidden video devices, they try to find compromising evidence against a criminal organization that has built a network for illegal drug trafficking. From time to time, the characters also have to fight corruption within their own system.
