Kindred – The science fiction series "Kindred" tells the story of Dana James, a young African-American woman and aspiring writer. She rejects her family obligations and moves to Los Angeles, leaving behind numerous disapproving relatives in her homeland. However, instead of that, the girl accidentally enters a time portal and is transported to the 19th century, to a plantation closely connected to her family's history. Dana must uncover the secrets of the past and return to the present as a completely different person.
