True Detective – The series by Nic Pizzolatto is structured as an anthology: each season tells a new story with new characters. All of them are detectives who have encountered brutal murders, the roots of which go deeper than any of them could have imagined. They are the best in their field, but each has their own skeletons in the closet: one is a corrupt cop, another contemplates suicide, and the third is ashamed of their own family.
