Lihoradka – In one of the progressive African countries, an epidemic breaks out. A team of volunteers from Russia, led by virologist Ivan Matetsky, arrives there. They are joined by local doctor Sophie Diogu, who once studied under Matetsky. Meanwhile, in a virus research center in Moscow, Matetsky's daughter Polina is working on a vaccine production project. At the same time, an international pharmaceutical corporation organizes a secret operation against the Moscow virologists. The situation becomes even more complicated when the epidemic reaches a critical point.
