Inspektor Gavrilov – This is the story of a former criminal authority named Sasha Medny, who by a twist of fate becomes the chief of a police department in a small provincial town. Hoping to break free from a life of crime, a repeat offender thief becomes his last case. But everything spirals out of control. To escape from the police, Sasha boards a train to Vladivostok, pretending to be Major Gavrilov. And so, the former hustler finds himself as a guardian of law and order - the head of the police in Ust-Shakhtinsk.
