My Lady Jane – The action takes place in England in 1547. Henry VIII Tudor dies, and his son Edward VI ascends to the throne. At the center of the events is a young woman of the Tudor era who enters into a marriage of convenience against her will. This leads to tumultuous romantic relationships, her coronation as queen, and a heroic mission to save people persecuted by her political rivals. Lady Jane is called the "Queen of Nine Days" because she ruled from July 10th to July 19th, 1553.
