The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem – "The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem" is an Israeli drama series about several generations of a Sephardic Jewish family living in Palestine and Spain. The Armoza surname has roots in the history of the Ottoman Empire, but today the Jews have their own sovereign state, which they strive to return to. The head of the family, Gabriel, is married to the frivolous and scandalous woman, Rosa. Together, they raise three daughters: Rivka, Rachel, and the most beloved beauty, Luna. However, a tangled web of circumstances brings division into the family.
