Bednye Abramovichi – This is a story about a large Jewish family living in Moscow. None of them, except for Musya Lvovna, who is of a very respectable age, are religious or observe the traditions of their people. Borya trades in pork, unsuccessfully trying to establish his business, and his son David is even ashamed of his heritage. Everything changes when Borya, trying to escape from debt collectors, is struck by lightning. Upon waking up, he encounters the spirit of his ancestor - the obnoxious old sinner, Chaim.
