Pennyworth – "Pennyworth" is a multi-series show based on the character Alfred from the popular DC Comics, who was the loyal butler of Bruce Wayne. The show takes place in the 1960s, before the birth of Batman. Young Pennyworth, a former special forces soldier, opens his own security organization and begins working with the billionaire Thomas Wayne in Gotham. It is during this time that their friendship and years of collaboration are born.
