Hrustalnyy – "Crystal" is a based-on-true-events story about the "serial killer hunter" Sergey Smirnov. Due to his duty, he is forced to return to the provincial town of Crystal, where his childhood took place. He fled from there to Moscow many years ago, escaping from painful memories. Now he has to come back to this place again to investigate the crimes happening there at present. Smirnov is determined to expose the killer.
