Betty – "Betty" is an American show filmed in the genre of a youth comedy. The series takes place in the early 1990s. The main characters are a group of teenage girls who are united by their love for skateboarding. Feeling completely alone in the world of sports dominated by men, the schoolgirls gradually become closer, sharing joys and sorrows, and eventually becoming best friends. The title of the series comes from the derogatory nickname that used to be given to female skateboarders.
