Contra las cuerdas – The series "Contra las cuerdas" is a Spanish comedy-drama about a former athlete named Angela. An older and not particularly successful woman, she is released from prison and wants to regain custody of her teenage daughter, who has grown up without her. The girl refuses to see her mother, but there is one key to her heart: she is literally obsessed with wrestling. Angela decides to do whatever it takes to earn her daughter's forgiveness and steps into the ring as a mysterious masked female fighter.
